What is Volunteering

Volunteering means freely choosing to commit time and energy, for the benefit of the community, environment and other people, without financial reward.

Anyone can volunteer and it’s a great way to get more involved in your local community and do something really worthwhile. Most charities would not exist without the help of volunteers. Volunteers play a key role in helping organisations to provide vital services to communities in need.
